Breaking News! Emergency Room Visit Diminishes Value of “Thoughtful” Mother’s Day Gift from Hubby

Breaking News. Hailey’s Mommy Sandra Jacobson has reported, and we quote, “my hubby Hailey’s Daddy Mark is a dead man when he gets home!” This is a stark difference from her attitude a few days ago, when she reported on social media that:

“I have the most thoughtful and wonderful hubby ever! He bought me a sign to put up in the front yard which says ‘Hero’s Work Here’. It is amazing to have a hubby who understands the heroism that Mommies put forward each and every day for their Lil’ Ones! Best…Mommies…Day…Gift…EVER!”

According to reports, it is this same sign which has now caused issues. At approximately 11:00 AM this morning, Lil One Hailey was playing outside, and according to reports, sprained her Lil ankle while being chased by a group of rambunctious boys! While it did not appear to be serious, Hailey’s Mommy Sandra thought it best to take her to the emergency room to “take care of anything which kisses could not”.

According to reports, Hailey’s Mommy Sandra stopped the car in the middle of the road, when according to her, she saw hundreds of the exact same sign near the local hospital. It would appear, that in haste to “not forget Mother’s Day”, or “as a joke’, that Hailey’s Daddy Mark simply stole a sign and presented it as a thoughtful gift.

We reached out to Hailey’s Daddy and Mommy Sandra’s Hubby Mark for comment. At the time of this report, no comment has been obtained. However, reports are coming from his office that he is unusually quiet with a slight appearance of dread on his face.

Hailey’s Daddy and Sandra’s Hubby Mark was last seen picking up debris from the sign in their back yard. It is unclear whether his explanation regarding the events has been taken into consideration, but experts predict that this may devolve into a dreaded “last straw” type of situation.

We have secured an explanation from a visibly shaken Hailey’s Daddy Mark. Here is the full transcript:

“I just thought it was kind of funny, you know? I was going to take her out later that day, but then she just loved that damn sign so much that she wanted to stare at it all day, and plan a garden to go around it. I didn’t have the heart to tell her where it came from. Do I regret this mistake? Absolutely. But it is still kind of funny when you think about it, though. However in my defense, the sign does say #Utah Cares. Did she really think the entire State was behind her now? Oh well…”

Hailey’s Mommy Sandra was last seen talking to her parents on the phone. It is not confirmed, but reports suggest her elderly father saying “THAT SON OF A BITCH!” loud enough to be heard by anyone within 10 feet of the phone. Hailey’s Daddy Mark was last seen in the garage drinking straight from a bottle of whiskey muttering “that was stupid, that was stupid, that was stupid” until 1:00 AM before passing out.
